The housing market on the Mississippi Coast, much like the rest of the U.S., has been super hot through most of the coronavirus pandemic.
And real estate is showing no signs of slowing down so far in 2022, according to data from Zillow.
The Sun Herald used the information to compile a chart of median home prices in cities across the Coast.
The city with the most expensive median home value is Pass Christian at $278,906, a 36.7% increase from January 2020.
The cheapest place to buy a house on the Coast is Pascagoula, which has a mean home value of $118,636, a 35.4% increase from January 2020.
The largest increase in price, 41%, was seen in Moss Point.
The increase in median home value prices for towns along the Coast ranged from 27% to 41%, with the smallest increase coming in D’Iberville.
