Crumbl Cookies is opening its 2nd location on the Coast. Here’s what to know.
A grand opening at the second Coast location of Crumbl Cookies begins at 8 a.m. Friday at The Promenade in D’Iberville.
The store at at 3950 Promenade Pkwy. is in the same building as Marshall’s Department Store and Pet Smart, just to the west of Buffalo Wild Wings and Chick-fil-A.
The company opened a store on Daniel Boulevard in Gulfport 6 months ago and operates more than 300 bakeries in 36 states nationwide. That makes it the fastest-growing cookie company in the nation, according to the website.
“We are so excited to introduce our delicious gourmet cookies to the residents of D’Iberville and surrounding cities,” said store owner Zach Trujillo.
Cousins Jason McGowan, the chief executive officer, and Sawyer Hemsley, the chief operating officer, opened their first store in 2017 in Logan, Utah.
They started by developing an award-winning recipe for their milk chocolate chip cookie, which always is available.
Beyond that, the menu changes every week to give customers a choice of four or five specialty flavors from more than 200 weekly flavors. Among the varieties are confetti cake with sprinkles, brownie batter, traditional oatmeal or passion fruit.
The grand opening week menu at the D’Iberville store will feature six flavors, including the milk chocolate chip.
“Always fresh and delicious! The rotating flavors are amazing, but nothing can beat the classic chocolate chip cookie,” one customer review said.
The cookies are packed in the company’s trademark box, created in 2018 by Hemsley and and his classmates at Utah State University, to fit the cookies side-by-side in a pink 4-pack, 6-pack, or 12-pack box.
Customers can order cookies online, pick up curbside, have cookies delivered locally or shipped, even catered. Or they can go into the store, where the open kitchen gives a view of the entire cookie-making process.
“Having our customers see every cookie being made is one of the best experiences of our stores,” Hemsley said.
“We’re really excited to bring this experience to D’Iberville and hope the local residents love these cookies as much as we do,” McGowan said.
