What to open a medical marijuana dispensary on the Coast, but don’t know where to begin? Here’s your chance to learn how to get started.

Ahead of medical marijuana legalization in the state, the Mississippi Medical Marijuana Association, also known as 3MA, is partnering with Cova Software to host lectures across Mississippi for those that want to open a medical marijuana dispensary.

The sessions will touch on a range of topics relating to opening a shop including startup advice, compliance tips and operational best practices.

The next seminar will be held Tuesday at the Hilton Garden Inn in Gulfport from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m, followed by sessions in Jackson on Wednesday and Southaven on Thursday.

The lead speakers will be Ken Newburger, executive director of 3MA, and Gary Cohen, CEO of Cova Software.
