PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans is coming to Old Town Bay St. Louis.
Real estate developers Jim and Catherine MacPhaille will own the coffee shop, expected to open in March on Main Street, a news release from P.J.’s says.
P.J.’s has eight locations in Mississippi and hopes to develop a total of 30 coffee shops in the state by 2020.
“We are excited to bring the New Orleans inspired flavors of PJ’s Coffee to Bay St. Louis and revive a building in the heart of the community on Main Street,” Jim MacPhaille says in the news release. “We know locals will appreciate and embrace the vibrant atmosphere and Southern hospitality that PJ’s Coffee provides.”
Another New Orleans coffee shop, CC’s Coffee House, was located on U.S. 90 in Bay St. Louis before Hurricane Katrina.
PJ’s Coffee, founded in 1978 by Phyllis Jordan, serves iced, frozen, hot, cold brew, and nitro-infused coffees, organic tea and pastries.
