Another bank shares benefits of tax cuts with employees

BancorpSouth Bank will give pay increases and/or one-time bonuses to nearly all its non-commissioned employees, the company announced Wednesday.

This investment of more than $10 million this year will benefit 96 percent of the company’s non-commissioned workforce, the company said in a press release. Pay increases were effective Jan. 1.

BancorpSouth is headquartered in Tupelo and operates 234 full-service branch locations along with mortgage, insurance and loan offices in Mississippi and seven other states.
