More than a dozen restaurants from across the city will be in one place on Thursday, offering some of the favorite dishes on their menus at the annual Taste of Long Beach.

The event is from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Harper McCaughan Town Green at 301 Jeff Davis Ave. in downtown Long Beach.

Confirmed vendors are Bankhouse Coffee, Bull’s Restaurant, Cajun Crawfish Hut, Chopsticks, Dolce Bakeshop, RPM Pizza – Domino’s, Half-Baked Subs, Harbor View Café, Joe’s Italian Ristorante, Juan Tequila’s, Lil’ Ray’s Restaurant, Long Beach Market & Deli, Rusty Pelican Restaurant and Trax Bar & Grill.

A variety of wines, cocktails and craft beer samples also will be served.

“Taste of Long Beach is a great way to showcase the amazing food and beverage vendors of Long Beach to the Coast community,” said Gabrielle Rose, director of the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce. The event was moved to November this year and she said the chamber expects a great turnout.

Live music and a silent auction, with products and services from Long Beach businesses up for bid, also are planned.

Admission is $30 per person, or $35 at the door, and $50 per couple and participants must be 21 or older to attend. Tickets can be purchased at Bacchus Wine and Liquor and The Peoples Bank in Long Beach.
