$1 or more will buy Gulfport building

The starting bid is $1 for two empty buildings on Tegarden Road in Gulfport, and since it’s an absolute auction, that dollar or anything higher will buy the property.

The online auction by Ten-X Commercial Real Estate Group in Miami begins Oct. 17 and ends Oct. 19. Up for sale are two 2,500-square-foot cold-storage warehouse buildings on 0.18 acre. The buildings at 724 Tegarden Road were built in 1998 and are a 14-minute drive from Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport.

None of the cold-storage equipment remains at the property, according to the auction website.

“This property is being sold individually by Reddy Ice Corp. as part of a 6-property sale, including 5 absolute auction sales starting at $1,” the website said. The other properties are in Louisiana, Texas, Georgia and West Virginia.

Though the starting bid is $1, a $1,000 participation deposit is required and a transaction fee of 5 percent of the winning bid, or a minimum of $20,000, will apply.
