Krispy Kreme brings back fan-favorite doughnut, but not for long. When to get it
A fan-favorite doughnut is back at Krispy Kreme in time for summer, but it won’t stick around.
Strawberry Original glazed doughnuts returned to bakery cases Thursday, April 16, at Krispy Kreme shops in North Carolina and nationwide, according to the Charlotte-based doughnut chain.
The seasonal treat, a berry-forward twist on the Original glazed doughnut, is available until Sunday, April 19. Doughnut lovers can get one (or a dozen) in-shop and in the drive-thru for a limited time.
Krispy Kreme first introduced strawberry glazed doughnuts in 2020, and this marks only the fifth time that they’ve returned to shops.
The treats last appeared in May 2025, McClatchy News reported.
Pricing information wasn’t immediately available, but a strawberry original glazed dozen was priced at $17.99 at Krispy Kreme’s South End location as of April 16. A single doughnut cost $2.49, and a three-pack was $8.19.
