What to take to a shelter
Water: One gallon of water per person per day
Food: Nonperishable food that requires little or no cooking
Clothing: One complete change of clothes, including footwear.
Bedding: Sheets and pillow
Personal items: Wash cloth, small towel, soap and personal hygiene products.
Medications: MEMA recommends having enough medication to last a month as well as wearing a medical ID bracelet so that responders will know your condition(s) if needed.
