Act fast at signs of a stroke
While seniors are at a greater risk of having a stroke, knowing the symptoms of a stroke and what to do if someone has one could be the key to saving a life.
The American Heart Association recommends:
-- F: Face drooping can be an early symptom of a stroke.
-- A: Arm weakness is another sign of a stroke.
-- S: Slurred speech is also a warning sign for someone that is having a stroke.
-- T: Time to call 911 if anyone shows any of these symptoms.
