Plenty of Valentine's Day weekend options for Coast seniors

Lexington Herald-Leader/2012

Valentine's Day will be on Sunday.

This means we have the whole weekend to celebrate with our significant others.

As for Coast-area seniors who are fortunate enough to have significant others, the options for celebrating your relationships are endless.

Dinner and a show is always a popular date-night choice and there are plenty of top-notch and Oscar-contender movies showing at Coast theaters to fit the bill.

Of course, Coast casinos always offer plenty of entertainment options, too, not the least of which this weekend includes a live performance by KC and The Sunshine Band at IP's Studio A in Biloxi at 8 p.m. Saturday.

Dinner, whether it is a specially prepared, home-cooked meal for your sweetie, or a date night out to one of the Coast's romantic restaurants, is always a great way to show your loved one how much you care.

No matter how you decide to celebrate your relationship this Valentine's Day weekend, though, don't forget to show them how much you care.

We offer a list of some of the Coast's top Valentine's Day weekend entertainment options that, while not just for seniors, might be good for a senior date night, or if you're a single senior, might offer a good opportunity to get out and possibly meet a potential Valentine.
