Name: James W. "Jim" Hardaman
Family: Wife, Shirley Cooper Hardaman; stepdaughter, Stacey Renee' Seruntine of Jefferson, La.; parents, the late William L. Hardaman and the late Evelyn Saucier Butler.
Business: Financial adviser and branch manager at Raymond James Financial Services in Gulfport. He received his first securities license in 1986. He is a graduate of the Institute of Investment Management Consulting and a member of the Financial Services Institute.
Education: Graduate of Gulfport High School; bachelor's degree in business administration with emphasis in marketing and finance from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Memberships: Co-founder, board member, and past president of Christmas on the Bayou. Board member of Boys and Girls Clubs of the Gulf Coast, a board member of the Gulfport Yacht Club and past president of the Great Southern Club Board of Directors. Member of the board, state director, past associate vice-president, and 2010 Associate of the Year of the Home Builders Association of Mississippi. He is a member of the Gulfport Elks Club, Gulfport Business Club, Harrison County Republican Club, and the Big Game Fishing Club. He actively donates to and participates in the Annual Fundraising Gala held at Magnolia Community Services of Jefferson, La., which provides services to adults with developmental disabilities including, but not limited to, job training, supported employment, community job placement, assisted independent living, and residential group home placement. He is a supporter of the Ohr-O'Keefe Museum of Art, Walter Anderson Museum of Art, Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestra and the Humane Society of South Mississippi.
GCCA history: He was a duke in 2011 and is serving on the board of directors of Gulf Coast Carnival Association.
