Coast photographer Alex North introducing new book

Popular Coast photographer Alex North will unveil his new book, "Mississippi Coast Blessings," at a book signing from 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Biloxi Visitors Center on U.S. 90.

The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

The book is a collection of images that celebrate the splendor found is South Mississippi. North is a native of the area and an avid outdoorsman, gardener and photographer.

"As a photographer my main subject matter is our God-given natural surroundings and the wildlife which call it home," he said. "I try to capture things you don't see, be it a stunning sunrise, Osprey fishing or a bloom opening. My goal is to capture it as it happens and share it with you through photography."
