Looks like she's going to be there a while, so she'd better accept her fate.

Though the one kitty is perched on the windowsill, that baby and the other Orange Cat are going to keep her pinned down for quite a bit.

As you can imagine, the comments section for this viral cat video was pretty funny.

"Oh, you're living the dream," one person wrote.

Another asked if the trio was triplets.

"And that's exactly when you suddenly need to pee," another commenter wrote.

Why Cats Are Drawn to Babies and Young Children

For any cat and new baby moms, this video is quite relatable.

Some commenters pointed out that the one Orange Cat lying on his mom next to the baby is a little jealous of his new human sibling and insists on being close to mom as well.

Or is the kitty just drawn to the baby?

Though cats are often thought to be standoffish and aloof, especially when it comes to new babies, they can actually be very maternal.

Felines have a strong instinct to protect their own young, and this can apply to other vulnerable animals, like human babies.

Another reason cats may feel drawn to babies is that cats do form deep social bonds with humans.

Clearly, this Orange Cat has a very strong bond with his mom, so he would be naturally drawn to her baby.

Once the newborn comes home, the cat can feel very protective of this new human and stay close by, and if he gets to cuddle with his mom, too, then it is even better!

Cats are also drawn to the smell of new babies.

An infant has a new smell that kitties are very intrigued by, as they form closer bonds with little ones.

Though they are sleeping in this video, cats also like to play with babies.

Babies can be amusing to kitties, and they can form natural friendships, especially with all those fun and colorful baby toys.
