This New Organic Cotton Knitted Baby Blanket From IKEA Is So Soft and Cozy-and Costs Under $20
IKEA just released an adorable new baby blanket made with organic cotton, and it's being sold for a fantastic price. The blanket is part of the LEN series, which is made up of soft items designed for baby nurseries.
In addition to the cozy new blanket, IKEA just dropped a few other new items as part of the LEN collection, including two other sweet baby blankets. Read on for all the details on these three new baby blankets from IKEA.
LEN Baby Blanket, Knitted, $19.99 at IKEA
IKEA just dropped the new LEN baby blanket in two delicate colorways: a soft creamy white and a bright sunshiny yellow.
Designed by Stina Lanneskog, the LEN baby blanket is made with 100 percent organic cotton yarn that has been certified by GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard). The yarn is finely knitted, which helps make the blanket extra soft for your baby, and it features a ribbed hem all around the edges, as well as a subtle pattern knitted throughout the blanket.
The blanket can go in the washing machine and dryer, and it measures around 27.5 inches by 35.5 inches, or around 2.3 feet by 3 feet. That said, IKEA notes that the blanket could shrink up to 6 percent after being washed.
LEN Baby Blanket, White Beige/Bunny Pattern, $14.99 at IKEA
This LEN baby blanket features a sweet bunny pattern on one side, and a striped pattern on the other. It's also made from 100 percent organic cotton jersey fabric, and it's fairly thin, making it great for taking on the go.
The blanket measures around 31.5 inches by 39.5 inches and is machine washable.
LEN Baby Blanket, White Beige/Dot Pattern, Muslin, $17.99 at IKEA
This breezy LEN baby blanket is made of 100 percent organic cotton muslin, featuring a "naturally pleated texture." One side is white with beige dots, and the other is beige with white dots.
This blanket measures 39.5 inches by 31.5 inches - so even though muslin is a preferred fabric for swaddling a baby, this particular blanket is a bit too small to use as a baby swaddle.
