Happiness can come in many forms, but it seems to be fairly elusive to many Americans. In fact, only 47% of people consider themselves “very satisfied” with their lives, which is an all time low.
A new study conducted by WalletHub, assessed all 50 states using 30 key metrics related to happiness, including depression rates, income growth and unemployment rates.
Unfortunately, Mississippi ranks worse than most states in the nation, coming in at 42, with only eight other states coming in “happier.”
Mississippi did poorly in several areas, including lowest participation in sports, highest divorce rate and least safe.
