Today the Sun Herald introduces the Mississippi Gulf Coast Carnival Association royal court for 2018.

Members of the Royal Court are usually the first clue each year as to the identities of King D’Iberville and Queen Ixolib.

Here today, you will find biographies of the 2018 GCCA dukes and maids, key girl and flag bearers.

Brax Kody Clark

Brax Kody Clark of Gulfport is the husband of Jennifer Cole. They are the parents of 8-year-old twins, Cook and Caroline Clark. Brax is the son of Sandra and Vernon Clark. He graduated from Mississippi State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing.

He is vice-president of his family’s business, Rocking C Truck Lines and Rocking C Truck and Trailer in Gulfport. He also is owner of Bin 605 Wine & Spirits in Gulfport. He serves on the board of the Mississippi Trucking Association.

In 2015, he was selected as a Top 50 under 40 Business Leader by the Mississippi Business Journal.

He is a member of the The Revelers, Gulfport Yacht Club, Bayou Bluff Tennis Club and Bayou View Elementary School PTA. He and his family are members of Saint James Catholic Church in Gulfport. Brax enjoys spending time and taking trips with his family and friends.

Ken W. Cook Jr.

Ken W. Cook Jr. of Biloxi is the husband of Dina Cook. They are the parents of 5-year-old Reeves Cook. Ken is the son of Kenny W. Cook Sr. and Wendie Cook and the late Les and Wanda Valentine. He is a graduate of D’Iberville High School and attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

For the past 20 years, Ken has been president of ABC Auto Parts in Biloxi. He is a member and past duke of Revelers, a member of The Order of Mithras and past King of the Krewe of Athena.

He is a member and past president of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Big Game Fishing Club. He is a member of Sunkist Community Club, where he serves as vice-president and tournament chairman.

He is a lifelong Biloxi resident and loves the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He enjoys tournament fishing with his team Head’s n Tail’s, playing golf, attending LSU and New Orleans Saints football games and coaching his son Reeves in the many sports he plays.

Charles Brent Fairley

Charles Brent Fairley of Gulfport is the husband of Melinda Fairley. They are the parents of Reagan, Reed and Rylan Fairley. He is the son of Bettye Fairley and the late Eddie Fairley. He is a graduate of Harrison Central High School. He received an associate’s degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

He earned a degree in banking and finance from the University of Mississippi and a degree in accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is a graduate of Mississippi School of Banking, Leadership Gulf Coast and Leadership Mississippi. He is senior vice president and Mississippi market president for Hancock Bank.

He is a board member of Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce and United Way of South Mississippi. He is on the board of Leadership Gulf Coast where he serves as co-program chair. He is a past board member of Gulfport Chamber of Commerce and Home Builders Association of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

He is a past co-chair of Chamber Champions and Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber Business Expo. He served as chair of the Gulfport Chamber’s signature fundraiser, Margaritafest.

Brent has served as a duke for the krewes of Athena and Les Cavaliers.

Since 2013 he has chaired the Gulf Coast Carnival Association’s 5-K Run for the Beads. He is a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church where he is a past member of the finance committee.

GCCA affiliations: Brent was previously a duke. His son Reed Fairley and daughter Reagan Fairley were flag bearers in 2017 and his son Rylan Fairley is a page to King d’Iberville this year. Brent is also a member of the board of GCCA.

David Charles Neumann

David Charles Neumann of Biloxi is the husband of Maureen Dorgan Neumann. They are the parents of George and John Arends. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles George Neumann.

He is a graduate of Ocean Springs High School , where he was a two-time baseball letterman with selection to Mississippi Coast’s East-West All Star team. He was a six-time soccer letterman with selection to Mississippi Association of Coaches All Star game south team following his senior season.

He received an associate’s degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, where he was the 1997 Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Baseball Academic All-American and Randy Rouse award winner. In 1999, he graduated cum laude from Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He was on the national dean’s list and a member of Golden Key National Honor Society, Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. He received his master of taxation degree from Mississippi State University in 2000.

He is a partner in the firm of Piltz, Williams, LaRosa & Company, Certified Public Accountants in Biloxi. He is a certified public accountant and certified bank auditor, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Mississippi Society of CPAs.

David is past president and current treasurer of Rotary Club of Biloxi and a 2011 graduate of Leadership Gulf Coast. He is a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and former treasurer of Our Lady of Fatima Elementary School advisory council. He is a member of The Revelers, Order of Mithras Carnival Association, Bayou Bluff Tennis Club, Gulfport Yacht Club and Gulfport Gridiron Club.

Tony Petro

Tony Petro of Hattiesburg is the son of Eddie and Carolyn Petro. He was the husband of the late Angela Walker. He is the proud father of Toni, Ryan, Peyton and Payne Petro. He is a graduate of Oak Grove High School in Hattiesburg. He studied business administration at the University of Southern Mississippi.

He is a 1991 graduate of the National Automotive Dealers Association’s Dealer Academy #57 where he was class president. He is chief executive officer at Petro Automotive Group and dealer principal at Petro Nissan in Hattiesburg.

He is immediate past chairman of the Mississippi Automotive Dealer Association and a former member of Nissan North America’s Dealer Advisory Board.

From the beginning of his retail car business 27 years ago and during his time at the National Automotive Dealers Association Dealer Academy, it has been his personal goal to become a Time Magazine dealer of the year. Tony has been selected as Mississippi 2018 Time Magazine dealer of the year.

In addition to his business accomplishments, he is president of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Big Game Fishing Club and was chairman of the American Heart Association’s 2012 Hattiesburg Heart Walk. He is a member of the Sertoma Club of Hattiesburg adn the Ole Biloxi Marching Club.

Ronald Wade Robertson Jr.

Ronald “Ronnie” Wade Robertson Jr. of Gulfport is the husband of Aimee Woodrick Robertson. They are the parents of Ronald Wade Robertson III, Andrew Woodrick “Woods” Robertson and Mary Rose Robertson.

He is the son of the late Ronald “Ronnie” Robertson and Susan McRaney Robertson. He is a graduate of Pillow Academy in Greenwood. He received a bachelor’s degree in biological engineering from Mississippi State University and a juris doctor degree from University of Mississippi School of Law. He is a member of the MSU Hall of Fame, and was selected Outstanding Senior in Bagley College of Engineering.

At the University of Mississippi, he was a member of The University of Mississippi Law Journal and received the Dean Robert J. Farley Award for Highest GPA in his graduating class.

Ronnie is chief administrative officer of the Hancock County Port & Harbor Commission. He is a member of the Ambassador Club for Mississippi Gulf Coast Resort Classic, a graduate of Leadership Gulf Coast, a member of The Revelers, a member of the Bayou Bluff Tennis Club and a board member of the Gulf Coast Chapter of Mississippi State University Alumni Association.

Michael J. Schloegel

Michael J. Schloegel of Gulfport is the husband of Ashley D. Schloegel. They are the parents of Jack, Sophie and Lily Schloegel. He is a graduate of St. John High School of Gulfport.

He graduated from the University of Mississippi, where he received a bachelor’s degree in banking and finance. He also attended the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University and Mississippi School of Banking. He is senior vice president for commercial banking at Hancock Bank. He is Mississippi representative on the Grassroots/Advocacy Committee for the American Bankers Association and past president of Mississippi Young Bankers.

He is a member of St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport and is a board member of The Revelers carnival organization.

GCCA affiliation: Michael’s father, George Schloegel, was a duke in 1980 and served as King d’Iberville in 1988. His mother, Peggy Harry Schloegel, was Queen Ixolib in 1959. His sister, Melissa Schloegel Marion, was a page in 1975 and Queen Ixolib in 1983. His brother, Mark Schloegel, was a duke in 2007. His uncle, Jimmy Haynes, was King d’Iberville in 2007. His first cousin, Donna Haynes, was Queen Ixolib in 1991 and her sister, Denise Haynes Nault, was Queen Ixolib in 2001. His daughters were pages to Queen Ixolib: Sophie in 2016 and Lily in 2017.

Walter Van Williams Jr.

Walter Van Williams Jr. of Biloxi is the husband of Jennifer Williams. He is the son of Walter “Pi” and Janet Williams. He is a 1981 graduate of Gulfport High School. He attended the University of Southern Mississippi, where in 1985 he received a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism with a minor in journalism.

While at USM he received the Outstanding Radio Achievement Award in 1983. He is local sales manager for WLOX TV in Biloxi. In 2010 he won the third-quarter Raycom Media Sales MVP from among 600 sales executive corporate wide.

Van is a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, where he is a past member of the vestry. He is also a past member of the communications committee for the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce.

GCCA affiliation: Van served as ball chairman from 2001 to 2005. His father, Walter “Pi” Williams, was a duke in 1988, lieutenant of carnival in 1993 and 1994, captain of carnival in 1995 and 1996, and GCCA chairman in 2005 and 2006. His brother, Keith Williams, was lieutenant of carnival in 1998 and 1999, captain of carnival in 2002 and 2001, a duke in 2013 and GCCA vice chairman in 2017 and 2018.

His nephew Keith Williams Jr. was a page in 1996 and flag bearer in 1998. His nephew Kyle Williams was a page in 2001 and a flag bearer in 2003. His brother-in-law, Guy Jeffery “Bitty” Mohler, was a duke in 2007. His nephew Chase Mohler was a page in 1999.

Emily Adele Guida

Emily Adele “Addie” Guida of Gulfport is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Guida. Her maternal grandparents are Dr. and Mrs. Alfredo Lopez. Her paternal grandparents are the late Robert Guida and Mrs. Robert Guida.

She graduated from St. Patrick Catholic High School where she was a varsity cheerleader, yearbook staff editor and a member of the National Honor Society. She currently attends the University of Mississippi where she has been a member of Associated Student Body, Society for Collegiate Leadership and Achievement, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society and National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She also is a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, where she served as recruitment chair.

Addie is a provost scholar and a member of the Trent Lott Leadership Institute, where she majors in public policy leadership and minors in journalism. While in college, she has also volunteered with Team 36, where she assists with ACT test preparation for high school students, as well as The McLean Institute for Public Service’s Horizons Summer Program, where she assisted in education efforts for underprivileged children in the Oxford community. She is a member of St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport.

Micheline Virginia Guida

Micheline Virginia “Michie” Guida of Gulfport is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Guida. Her maternal grandparents are Dr. and Mrs. Alfredo Lopez. Her paternal grandparents are the late Robert Guida and Mrs. Robert Guida.

She graduated with high honors from St. Patrick Catholic High School, where she served as class secretary. She was Mississippi Youth Legislature Clerk of the House. She was voted mock trial most outstanding witness and senior class most outgoing. She played on the varsity tennis and basketball teams for four years. She was tennis representative for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and chaplain for the National Honor Society. She was a member of the National Spanish Honor Society, National Science Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta.

Michie is a senior studying pre-med, majoring in biological sciences and minoring in sociology, at Louisiana State University, where she is on the dean’s list. She is a member of the Beta Beta Beta Honor Society, National Society for Collegiate Scholars, Phi Sigma Theta National Honor Society and Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. She is a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She is a Lead Abroad Ambassador and fundraising chairwoman of LSU GIVE Club. She is a member of Make-a-Wish Club, Italian Club, Tiger Athletic Foundation and College Republicans. She is a Christ the King Catholic Church prayer army leader and a BIOS mentor/recruiter. She is a member of St. James Catholic Church and former fundraising chairwoman for the Cotillion Club of Gulfport.

Peyton Leigh Holloway

Peyton Leigh Holloway of Biloxi is the daughter of Dianne Holloway and Kenny Holloway. Her maternal grandparents are Bob and Felicia Philpot. Her paternal grandparents are the late A.J. Holloway Sr. and the late Iris Holloway.

She is a graduate of Biloxi High School. She is currently a senior at University of Louisiana at Monroe. She is studying secondary education with an emphasis in English. She is a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cathedral Catholic Church in Biloxi.

GCCA affiliation: Peyton was a page in 2005, a flag bearer in 2008 and served as key girl in 2014. Her sister, Kendall Holloway, was a flag bearer in 2003, key girl in 2010 and a maid in 2015. Her father, Kenny Holloway, was a duke in 2004, lieutenant of carnival in 2008 and 2009, captain of carnival in 2010 and 2010, GCCA vice chair in 2014, 2015 and 2016, and GCCA chair in 2017 and 2018.

Denton Alexandria Hunter

Denton Alexandria Hunter of Biloxi is the daughter of Daniel R. and Lee Ann Hunter. Her maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Hough and Ms. Ann Phillips Hough. Her paternal grandparents are the late Reverend Roy Hunter and Ms. Joanne Hunter.

She is a graduate of St. Patrick Catholic High School, where she was a member of National Honor Society, Junior National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta/Math Honor Society and the homecoming court.

She received the student of the month and journalism awards. She was voted by her class as most unique as a senior and class favorite in her freshmen year. She also was nominated for People To People for three years and invited to attend the National Student Leadership Conference as a senior.

She was a member of student government serving as class president twice. She was a member of the dance team, where she served as co-captain and received the All Star and Sunshine awards. She was a member of the Drama Club, Interact Club, Key Club, Film Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Campus Ministry, Mock Trial, Robotics Club, Photography Club, Students Against Destructive Decisions, Youth and Government, and yearbook/journalism staff.

Denton volunteered with Children of the Court, Alex Lemonade Stand — a project she spearheaded for school — First Baptist Church Youth Group, First Baptist Church Nursery, numerous blood drives, St. James Festival and Mississippi Mental Health Association.

She is a junior studying international business at Mississippi State University, where she was a recipient of an Academic and Excellence Scholarship. She has been on the dean’s list every semester. She is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society and National Society of Collegiate Scholars, French Club and Globe Trotters.

She is an MSU-Study Abroad Ambassador and MSU Language Emissary and was Archery Club secretary. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia Semester at Sea program, where she was a member of the Sea Council. She is a member of Alpha Delta Pi, where she served as chaplain in fall 2015 and a panhellenic delegate in 2017.

She is a member of First Baptist Church of Biloxi and Les Masquee carnival organization. She was a 2015 member of the Gulf Coast Debutante Society.

GCCA affiliations: Denton’s aunt, Jill Hough, was a maid in 1988. Her father, Daniel Hunter, was a duke in 2012. Her sister, Danielle Hunter, was a maid in 2016.

Caitlyn Marie Lesso

Caitlyn Marie Lesso of Biloxi is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Mavar and the late Rudolph Lesso III. Her maternal grandmother is the late Kathleen Frances Smith. Her paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Lesso Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Victor Mavar Sr.

She is a graduate of St. Patrick High School , where she served as editor-at-large of the yearbook staff, varsity cheer captain and a member of the homecoming court. She was chosen as a member of the Spring Ball Court for the Cotillion Club of Gulfport. She is currently a junior studying construction engineering in the STEM Path to MBA program at the University of Alabama, where she received a full academic scholarship. She is a member of the University of Alabama Honors College, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Student Chapter of International Justice Mission, Student Engineers in Action, a student member of American Society of Civil Engineers and has been on the dean’s list freshman through junior years.

Caty is a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She serves as junior member of Kappa Delta Standards Board. She is on the University of Alabama Homecoming Service Committee. She volunteers at Matthews Elementary School in Tuscaloosa with the Al’s Pals organization. She is a parishioner at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Biloxi and St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Tuscaloosa.

GCCA affiliations: Caty previously was a flag bearer. Her late father, Rudolph Lesso III, was a duke in 1999. Her stepfather, Mark Mavar, was King d’Iberville in 2012. Her brother Jarrod Lesso was a flag bearer. Her brother Christopher Mavar was a page in 2014 and is a flag bearer this year. Her brother Ryan Mavar is a page to King d’Iberville this year. Her grandfather Victor Mavar Sr. served as King d’Iberville in 1998. Her aunt, Elizabeth Mavar Spratlin, was Queen Ixolib in 1993.

Olivia Ann Stanovich

Olivia Ann Stanovich of Biloxi is the daughter of Wanda and Lindus Stanovich. Her maternal grandparents are Weldon and Mary Ann Starks. Her paternal grandparents are Peter and Bessie Stanovich.

She is a graduate of Biloxi High School. She is currently a graduating sophomore at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. She plans to attend the University of Southern Mississippi to obtain a bachelor’s degree in business administration. While going to college, she is employed at the family business, Starks Contracting Company, and also works at the law firm of Byrd & Wiser. She plans to use the experience and training she is receiving from both companies to enhance her goals toward a business degree.

Olivia is a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cathedral Catholic Church, where she works with the youth ministry.

GCCA affiliation: Olivia was a page to Queen Ixolib in 2003. Her aunt, Olivia Starks Lanier, was a maid in 1979. Her cousin Christopher Guttierrez was a flag bearer. Her cousin Tiffany Guttierrez was a flag bearer in 1997, a page to Queen Ixolib and a maid in 2003. Her cousin Weldon Guttierrez was a page in 1997. Her brother Lindus Stanovich was a page in 2003. Her brother Cameron Stanovich was a flag bearer. Her cousin Jenna Starks was a flag bearer.

Alexandra Brianne Waldrop

Alexandra Brianne Waldrop of Gulfport is the daughter of Terry and Stacey Waldrop. Her maternal grandparents are Mrs. Annette Williams and the late Rev. Jack Williams. Her paternal grandparents are Jerry and Barbara Waldrop.

She graduated with honors from St. Patrick Catholic High School, where she held numerous positions in student government. She was selected by the student body as homecoming queen and Miss SPCHS. She was inducted into the St. Patrick Catholic High School Hall of Fame. She was a member of National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society. She served a president of the Students Against Destructive Decisions Club (SADD). She participated in March for Life in Washington, D.C., and served on the Campus Ministry Team. She was captain of the Irish Emerald State Champion Dance Team and a three-year letterman in varsity soccer. In 2011 she was awarded the City of Biloxi Youth Volunteer of the Award.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education from the University of Southern Mississippi, where she was the recipient of the USM Leadership Scholarship. She was selected as a USM Freshman Associate. She was a member of Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education, Order of Omega Honor Society, Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society and Alpha Delta Lambda Honor Society. She was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, where she held the positions of panhellenic delegate, skit chairperson and chapter choreographer. She volunteered with Girl Scouts of America and was chairperson of the inaugural American Cancer Society Relay for Life at USM.

Alexandra is a member of St. James Catholic Church and Mississippi Dyslexia Therapy Association. She is a member of Hibernia Marching Society of Mississippi and served as 2017 Colleen. She was selected to serve on the Catholic Diocese of Biloxi SEARCH Team and was a volunteer coach for MS Coast Special Needs Soccer Association. She is currently a special education teacher at West Elementary School in Gulfport. She is an advocate of children with special needs and is pursuing her master of education degree in dyslexia therapy at William Carey University.

Emma Lee Warr

Emma Lee Warr of Gulfport is the daughter of Brent and Laura Warr. Her maternal grandparents are Art and Jackie Stephens of Houston, Texas, and Gene and Angie Meeks of Bracketville, Texas. Her paternal grandparents are Gene and Kay Warr.

She graduated with distinction from Gulfport High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society and Key Club. She served as captain of the color guard and varsity winter guard. She attended Mississippi College and is currently a junior at Mississippi State University studying culinary science. At Mississippi College she was a member of the Chenoa Social Tribe and archery team, and an originating member of Recurve Bow.

Emma is a member of First Baptist Church of Gulfport. She was a People to People Leadership Ambassador at Harvard University and a member of Mission Team — Peru — in service of children in foster care. She enjoys working with high school color guard students. From 2014 to present she has worked with bands from various schools as a color guard instructor and choreographer.

GCCA affiliations: Emma served as a page in 2008. Her father, Brent Warr, served as a duke in 1990.

Rylan Price Fairley

Rylan Price Fairley of Gulfport is the son of Brent and Melinda Fairley. He is a student at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School in Long Beach, where he is on the all “A” honor roll and was selected student of the month and earned the St. Vincent de Paul award.

Rylan is a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. He participates in SMSC select soccer, OGYA baseball and All Star baseball.

GCCA affiliations: Rylan’s father, Brent Fairley, was a duke in 2014 and a duke again this year. His sister, Reagan Fairley, and brother, Reed Fairley, were flag bearers in 2017.

Ryan Patrick Harlow Mavar of Biloxi is the son of Mark and Jennifer Mavar.

He is an honor roll student at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Elementary School, where he has earned the Citizenship and Perfect Attendance awards.

Julia Lyles Guice of Biloxi is the daughter of William L. Guice IV and Patricia A. Guice.

She is an honor roll student at Our Lady of Fatima Elementary School. She is a member of the school basketball team. She has earned Kiwanis Terrific Kid, citizenship and accelerated reading awards. Julia competed in the Academic Competition for Excellence (A.C.E.) in social studies and received the imaginative award for creativity in her class. She is a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, where she is an altar server.

GCCA affiliations: Julia’s grandfather, William Lee Guice III, was a duke in 1986. Her father, William Lee Guice IV, was a duke in 2016.

Gabrielle Rizk

Gabrielle Rizk of Gulfport is the daughter of Dr. Antoine and Tania Rizk. She is an honor roll student at St. James Catholic Elementary school in Gulfport. She is also very involved in her school.

She received the Spirit Award several times and is on the school’s cheerleading and basketball teams. She performs in the school’s musical production every year and is also on the school’s Lego league team. Her team won the local competition and is competing in the state championship in February.

She is a member of the St. James Catholic Church, where she is an altar server. She is also a member of Gulfport Yacht Club and Bayou Bluff Tennis Club.

Aaron David Arguelles

Aaron David Arguelles of Ocean Springs is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Arguelles. He is a student at St. Martin Middle School. He is a member of Nativity BVM Cathedral Catholic Church and Nativity Youth Ministry. He volunteers for the Make-a-Wish Foundation and the Asgard toy run. Aaron enjoys baseball, soccer and archery.

Lauren Alexandra-Nicole Clark

Lauren Alexandra-Nicole Clark of Biloxi is the daughter of Ms. Brandi Hall-Clark. She is an honors student at Biloxi High School, where she is a varsity cheerleader. She is a member of student council, National Beta Club, Sound Surge Choir and Fellowship of Christian Athletes and is a Biloxi Indians Diamond Girl. Lauren is currently participating in the Biloxi Chamber Junior Leadership Program. She is a member of the Duke TIP Education Program and a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Her hobbies include cheering, tumbling, singing dancing, show choir and spending time with friends.

Breton Porter Descher

Breton Porter Descher of Biloxi is the son of Mr. Jeffery H. Descher and Mrs. April Pucheu Descher. He is a student at St James Catholic Elementary School in Gulfport. Breton enjoys spending his time fishing, boating and playing soccer and basketball.

Devin Vernon Beamon

Devin Vernon Beamon of Gulfport is the son of Vernon Beamon, DMD, and Rianna Bahadur, MD. He is a student at Bayou View Middle School. Devin enjoys playing soccer, tennis, ping pong and traveling.

Kennedy Claire Eure of Saucier is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs Casey Eure. She is a student at North Woolmarket Middle School, where she is a North Woolmarket cheerleader. Kennedy is an honor student and a member of Future Business Leaders of America and Beta Club.

Michael George Hage Jr.

Michael George Hage Jr. of Gulfport is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael George Hage Sr. He is a student at Bayou View Middle School, where he is a student council representative and a member of National Honor Society, math competition team and soccer team. He is on the superintendent’s list and has earned Fierce Five Top 5 GPA and highest math GPA awards in 6th and 7th grades. Michael is a member of the Gulf Coast United Select Soccer Team and St. James Catholic Church. He enjoys playing soccer, boating and spending time with friends and family.

Christopher Donlon Mavar

Christopher Donlon Mavar of Biloxi is the son of Mark and Jennifer Mavar. He is a student at Our Lady of Fatima Elementary School. Christopher enjoys play flag football and basketball for Our Lady of Fatima as well as fishing and cheering on the New Orleans Saints and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Carter Joseph McLendon

Carter Joseph McLendon of Biloxi is the son of Jonathan and Aimee McLendon. He is a student at Our Lady of Fatima Elementary School, where he is a member of the basketball and track teams. He participates in Upward Sports flag football and is a black belt in taekwondo. Carter is a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, where he is an altar server.

John David Riemann

John David Riemann of Gulfport is the son of Chad and Heather Riemann. He is a student at Bayou View Middle School where he is a member of the school robotics team. He is member of the book club and the Gulfport High School Tennis Team. In his free time, he enjoys playing his Xbox.

Heith William Shinn

Heith William Shinn of Biloxi is the son of John and Carol Shinn. He is a high honor student at Our Lady of Fatima Elementary School, where he is a member of ACE and math competition teams. He also plays for the basketball team and runs for the school track team. In addition, he plays basketball and baseball for the City of Biloxi youth programs and has been an all-star baseball player for five years.

Molly Beeson Schmidt

Molly Beeson Schmidt is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert J Schmidt Jr. of Biloxi. Her maternal grandparents are Mrs. Glenn E. Brune Sr. and the late Mr. Glenn E Brune Sr. of Ocean Springs, and paternal grandparents are the late Dr. and Mrs. Robert Schmidt of Biloxi.

She is a student at Biloxi High School, where she is a member of the Business Honor Society and National Society of High School Scholars. She has been involved with the theater department, participating in multiple productions. She is also a volunteer for the Nativity BVM Youth Ministry and the Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum. She is a member of Southern Yacht Club in New Orleans and Nativity BVM Cathedral Parish in Biloxi. She enjoys spending time at the islands, with her friends and family and entertaining her cat Jinx.Molly plans to attend the University of South Alabama in the fall.

Her uncle, Roland Weeks, was King d’Iberville in 1977. Her aunt, Margaret Schmidt Davis, was a maid in 1986. Her sister, Miia Catherin Newman, was a flag bearer in 2008 and key girl in 2013.
