Synopsis: Two former college buddies — misfit Harry and materialistic Milt — are serendipitously reunited when the latter stops the former from taking a swan dive into the East River. Each tries to top the other as they trade hysterically funny hard-luck stories … and Harry suddenly finds himself as the solution to Milt’s most vexing question … how to unload his wife Ellen. Murray Schisgal’s Tony Award-winning comedy ran two and a half years on Broadway.
