The crowd was vibrant as the Jackson County Carnival Association Mardi Gras parade rolled through Pascagoula on Saturday.
This year 80 floats made their way down the usual route of Ingalls Avenue to Market Street to Jackson Avenue and then on to Pascagoula Street.
Saturday marked the 49th year the parade has rolled and 2026 will mark the parade’s 50th anniversary.
