Mardi Gras

Here’s a list of 2022 Mardi Gras parades, balls and events on the MS Coast

Christmas and New Year’s have passed, and it’s officially time to celebrate Mardi Gras season on the Mississippi Coast.

In 2021, the coronavirus pandemic forced cancellations of many of the Mardi Gras festivities, but parades are back for now and scheduled for the Coast and New Orleans.

South Mississippi’s Mardi Gras festivities will kick off on Wednesday with Biloxi’s Twelfth Night Celebration. The reigning royal court of Gulf Coast Carnival Association will extinguish the lights at the Biloxi Lighthouse and then parade to the Biloxi City Hall, where the lights there will be illuminated to symbolize the beginning the Carnival season.

Check out our list below of all the Mississippi Coast Mardi Gras parades and festivities. It will be updated as more are announced.
