‘Am I extra?’ MS Coast native will star on hit Bravo reality show ‘Below Deck’
A Pass Christian native and former “American Idol” contestant is taking her talent to the seas on a show that’s sure to bring entertainment — and drama.
Camille Lamb is set to star in the 10th season of “Below Deck” on Bravo.
Set in St. Lucia the reality series follows a group of crew members who cater to clients on a yacht. This season will feature the largest motor yacht in the show’s history, Bravo said in a press release.
The preview for “Below Deck” has already been released on Bravo’s website with a message to viewers: “New location, new boat, steamy romances and intense drama on board push Captain Lee and his crew to the edge like never before: “Prepare to abandon ship!”
Lamb announced her spot in the show via Instagram last month.
She was 22-years-old when she made her first national TV appearance on season 19 of “American Idol” last year.
Lamb sang for judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie and made it through auditions and the duet round. She would sing for a spot in the Top 24 but was cut by the judges. Katy Perry called Lamb a “queen” during her time on the show.
On “Below Deck,” Lamb will work as Deck/Stew on the show. Her Bravo profile says she “is a natural-born yachtie with a love for the water, the beach and traveling.”
Lamb will work two jobs on the yacht and Bravo says “she loses motivation on board” when she’s split between two departments.
The Bravo preview video features Lamb prominently and shows a romance with another yachtie and her asking the question, “Am I extra?”
You can watch the newest season of “Below Deck” on Bravo TV beginning Nov. 21.
