WAVELAND -- Police have arrested a man suspected in a drive-by shooting reported Dec. 23 at Margie Street and Old Spanish Trail.
Detective David Buckley said William Rayfield "Talley" Vaughn, 29, was taken into custody Friday night.
No one was injured in the shooting.
Police arrested Vaughn on charges of shooting into an occupied dwelling and possession of a firearm by a felon. They also found him in possession of two types of narcotics, resulting in an additional felony charge, Buckley said.

Vaughn is held with no bond on a probation warrant from the state Department of Corrections.
Buckley said additional arrests are expected. Residents came forward with information that led to Vaughn's arrest, he said.
