A Jackson County grand jury has indicted a Moss Point man on 14 felony charges for allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old he also allegedly filmed simulating sex, according to court records.
Jacob Blair Scott, 41, was indicted on nine counts of sexual battery against the minor and four counts of touching of a child for lustful purposes involving the same minor child.
In addition, the grand jury indicted Scott on one count of child exploitation for allegedly filming the minor simulating sex acts, records show.
According to court records, the crimes occurred at different times between Nov. 1, 2016, and Feb. 28, 2017.
Sexual battery is a felony punishable by up to 30 years in prison.
Touching of a child for lustful purposes carries a sentence of up to 15 years and child exploitation is punishable by up to 40 years in prison.
After the grand jury indictment, Scott was arrested and jailed in Jackson County this week.
