Man's body found in pickup at Ingalls Shipbuilding

An Ingalls Shipybuilding employee was found dead in his truck at the shipyard Tuesday morning by his family, who were concerned when Santos Morales, 56, didn't come home after work.

"They went to the shipyard and discovered his body in the truck," said Pascagoula police Lt. Doug Adams.

"Yesterday afternoon, it appears that he got off work, put his stuff in the back of his truck and apparently died of a heart attack," Adams said. "At this time, pending autopsy results, everything appears to be medically related and no foul play."
