Do you recognize his tattoos? Sheriff asks for help to ID body found in Pascagoula River

Sheriff’s investigators are asking for the public’s help identifying a man found dead and floating in the Pascagoula River.

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks discovered the body around 1 p.m. Tuesday near the Roy Cumbest Bridge off Wade/Vancleave Road, Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell said in a press release.

Ezell hopes the public can help identify the man from his tattoos.

  • The numbers “334” are tattooed on his lower left arm.
  • A name tattooed on his right chest.

There are also other designs inked around the “334” on the man’s arms, a photo released by the sheriff’s department shows.

The tattoos are black and gray in color.

The man is described as about 30 to 40 years old and was wearing a red, white and blue T-shirt with a skull on it and a blue, white and gray swimsuit.

Ezell said an autopsy is pending.

Anyone with information can call the sheriff’s department at 228-769 3063.
