Thanks for the memories, Old Cuevas Bistro
It's always sad when a restaurant doesn't make it, but when one burns, it’s a tragedy, especially when it is a historic property.
The Old Cuevas Bistro in Pass Christian burned last week, and it is going to be sadly missed. I wrote about it back in 2012 and loved the food, location and ambiance.
The photo for this blog is of a pimento and cheese topped burger that the restaurant was famous for when I was there. I’ve also included a picture of the now-gone building.
Best wishes to all the staff and hope everyone gets back on their feet as quickly as possible, and we hope the owners are able to rebuild.
