Minnesota Twins second baseman and former Southern Miss star Brian Dozier is among five candidates who are part of a fan vote to decide the final spot on the American League All-Star Team.
On Wednesday, he received an endorsement from a man who is both a Minnesota and USM legend.
Brett Favre, who finished his NFL career with the Minnesota Vikings, recorded a brief video endorsing Dozier in the fan vote.
“I'm asking you to vote for my fellow Southern Miss alum, Brian Dozier, for this year's All-Star Game,” Favre said in the video.
