Pavin withdraws from Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic

One of the bigger names originally set to take part in this week's Mississippi Gulf Resort Classic has decided not to compete this weekend at Fallen Oak Golf Club in Saucier.

Pavin, a 15-time winner on the PGA Tour, withdrew this morning. The reason for his withdrawal was not immediately available Wednesday morning.

He has been replaced by Jeff Hart, who has one career win on the Nationwide Tour in 2000.

Pavin was a 15-time winner on the PGA Tour, including the 1995 U.S. Open.

Competition begins Friday in the MGRC.
