Former Ole Miss and Pascagoula star Senquez Golson will not play in today's Bowl due to injury.
Golson suffered a hamstring injury this week in practice, according to a Senior Bowl spokesman.
He said this week that he was looking forward to playing in front of family and friends today in Mobile, which is less than an hour's drive from Pascagoula. Instead, Golson will watch from the sidelines in a baseball cap and a jersey.
Golson ranked second in the nation in interceptions this season with 10 and was one of five finalists for the Nagurski Trophy, which goes to the nation's top defensive player.
