MSU stays No. 4 in CFP rankings, Ole Miss drops to 19th

Mississippi State maintained its spot as the No. 4 team in the College Football Playoff rankings released on Tuesday.

Ole Miss (8-3) saw an 11-spot drop to No. 19 after losing 30-0 at Arkansas on Saturday.

MSU (10-1) travels to Ole Miss at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday for the Egg Bowl.

Alabama maintained its No. 1 spot in the new CFP rankings, followed by No. 2 Oregon and No. 3 Florida State.

TCU is No. 5, Ohio State is ranked sixth and Baylor comes in at No. 7.
