Pascagoula angler hauls in record catch

BILOXI – The Mississippi Commission on Marine Resources on Tuesday certified Pascagoula fishernman’s new state record for Scamp.

Joey Antoon set the record with a 28-pound, 4.32-ounce fish he caught on June 11.

The previous record catch was 26 pounds, 15 ounces and was set in November of 2012.
