Amory native wins national bass federation tournament semifinals
Wayne Parrish won the District 4 National Bass Federation Tournament semifinals on Sunday at the Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort in D’Iberville.
Parrish’s two-day total weight of bass was 14.50, slightly better than Mark Gwin’s 13.28. Edwin Gregory was third at 12.39.
Parrish is a Amory native.
In the individual competition for co-anglers, David Salter of Alabama was first with a two day total of 10.64. Justin McKee and David Reiland, both from Mississippi, were second and third, at 7.73 and 7.45, respectively.
