The Tennessee Smokies topped the Biloxi Shuckers 3-2 in 12 innings Monday night in Kodak, Tenn.
Tennessee won the game when Billy McKinney's sacrifice fly to center field scored Jacob Hannemann from third base for the winning run.
Brett Lee (2-1) took the loss for Biloxi, giving up one earned run on three hits in 1 1/3 innings in relief. Michael Jensen (2-0) was the winner for Tennessee after throwing a scoreless 12th.
Tennessee, which took three of five games in the series, improved to 21-24 with the win.
Leadoff hitter Chesny Young was 3-for-6 with two runs scored for Tennessee.
Tennessee shortstop Carlos Penalver, the team's nine-hole hitter, had a nice night at the plate, going 3-for-5. McKinney was 2-for-5 with an RBI and Jelmer Candelario finished 3-for-6 with one RBI.
Leadoff hitter Kyle Wren led the Shuckers at the plate, going 3-for-6 with an RBI and one run scored. Tyrone Taylor, Nick Shaw and Brandon Macias each added two hits for Biloxi (26-18).
The Shuckers will have an off day on Tuesday before traveling to Mobile for a 6:35 p.m. game on Wednesday.
