Shuckers starting pitcher Adrian Houser was named the Southern League Pitcher of the Week on Monday.
Over two starts last week, the Locust Grove, Oklahoma native tossed 13 scoreless innings, moving his scoreless streak to 15.1 innings, while striking out seven and not issuing a walk.
Houser finished 2-0 this week and is a perfect 4-0 over his first six starts with the Shuckers.
Houser capped his week by helping the Shuckers to a 4-3 victory on Sunday at Mississippi. In his first start, a 9-0 win over Mobile, Houser gave up just two hits and two walks, while striking out three in seven scoreless frames. Five days later, he fired six more shutout innings, while striking out four Braves batters.

Overall, Houser is 4-0 with a 1.80 ERA in six starts, adding 30 strikeouts and just four walks.
