The Biloxi Shuckers officialluy named Hunter Reed its new General Manager on Wednesday.
Reed was named interim GM after the departure of Chuck Arnold in December. He was also Assistant General Manager during the 2017 season.
“Hunter will do an excellent job as our General Manager,” Biloxi Shuckers President Ken Young said a in a release. “He’s been in professional baseball for 14 years and brings a career of experience to this role. Hunter will continue to be a great leader in the Gulf Coast community.”
Reed, who spent 10 years as the Greeneville Astros’ Assistant General manager, welcomes the opportunity.

The community has always been in the forefront for Reed, serving currently in the Kiwanis Club of Biloxi and Towns Around Biloxi Parrot Head Club. Previously, he was President of the Kiwanis Club of Greeneville, TN.
