Varnado too much for St. Patrick

The St. Patrick Fighting Irish fell to 0-3 on the season Friday with a 39-8 loss at Varnado, Louisiana.

Varnado (1-0) jumped ahead 33-0 on the Irish by halftime and extended the lead to 39-0 late in the game.

The Irish avoided the shutout thanks to a touchdown pass from Carson Bishop to Aaron Broadus. Tucker Santiago also converted the 2-point conversion.

St. Patrick will look to get back on track next week with a home showdown against Puckett.
