South Mississippi softball playoff schedule

The MHSAA softball playoffs kick off Friday. Below is a complete schedule for South Mississippi's post-season participants:

CLASS 6A

FIRST-ROUND BYE: Harrison Central, St. Martin

Biloxi vs. Terry: 5 p.m. Friday, doubleheader at Biloxi; 2 p.m. Saturday at Terry

Ocean Springs vs. Meridian: 5:30 p.m. Friday at Ocean Springs; 7:30 p.m. Friday at Ocean Springs; 1 p.m., Saturday (if needed) at Meridian

George County vs. Petal: 6:30 p.m., Friday at George County; 2 p.m. Saturday at Petal; 4 p.m. Saturday (if necessary) at Petal

Hancock vs. Pearl: 5:30 p.m. Friday at Pearl; 2 p.m. Saturday at Hancock; 4 p.m. Saturday (if necessary) at Hancock

CLASS 5A

FIRST-ROUND BYE: Long Beach, Pearl River Central, West Harrison

Picayune vs. West Jones: 6 p.m. Friday at West Jones; 11 a.m. Saturday at Picayune; 1 p.m. Saturday (if necessary) at Picayune

Stone vs. South Jones: 5 p.m. Thursday at Stone; 5 p.m. Saturday at South Jones; 7 p.m. Saturday (if necessary) at South Jones

Pascagoula vs. Natchez: 5 p.m. Friday at Natchez; 1 p.m. Saturday at Pascagoula; 3 p.m. Saturday at Pascagoula

CLASS 4A

FIRST-ROUND BYE: Poplarville, Pass Christian

East Central vs. Florence: 5 p.m. Friday at Florence; 2 p.m. Saturday at East Central; 4 p.m. Saturday (if necessary) at East Central

Moss Point vs. Richland: 5:30 p.m. Friday at Moss Point; 2 p.m., Saturday at Richland; 4 p.m., Saturday (if necessary) at Richland

CLASS 3A

FIRST-ROUND BYE: St. Patrick

CLASS 1A

Resurrection vs. Sebastopol: 5 p.m. Friday at RCS; 2 p.m. Saturday at Sebastopol; 4 p.m. Saturday (if needed) at Sebastopol
