St. Stanislaus won the District 8-4A golf championship for the fifth time in a row at Diamondhead Country Club on Monday.
Vincent Almerico made all-district and won district champion with a 76. Patrick Powers also made all region with a score of 80.
Vancleave's Noah Parnell also made all-district with a score of 83.
Harrison Central 8, West Harrison 3: Mason Saucier knocked in three runs and Logan Virgilio had three singles and two RBIs to lead the Red Rebels (13-8) to a baseball win. Jack Sajwaj picked up the win by throwing two scoreless innings in relief. Kasey Donaldson led West Harrison with a pair of singles.

Stone 9, St. Patrick 5: Truitt Smith had three RBIs and Hunter Clark had two RBIS as Stone (13-9) picked up the baseball win. Truitt Smith (4-4) was the winning pitcher.
Ocean Springs 2, Brandon 0: Evan Hannah struck out six in 4 2/3 innings in relief to pick up the baseball win in a game at Sumrall. Taylor Reeves had a pair of hits and Gavin Beagez had an RBI double for the Greyhounds (19-7).
St. Stanislaus 8, Bay High 0: Levi Knight gave up three hits and struck out eight in six scoreless innings to pick up the win. Brendan Logan, Nick Hertz and Knight each had a pair of hits for the Rockachaws (14-7, 7-3). The Rockachaws are the two seed in Region 8-4A.
Gulfport tennis wins region: The Gulfport tennis team won the Region 8-6A district tournament Monday, 4-1. Gulfport players who are advancing as winners are girls' singles --Julia Richardson, mixed doubles -- Chad Gutierrez and Maureen Maher, Girls' Doubles -- Megan Bankston and Devyn Alexander and boys' doubles No. 1 - Jay Warren/Jonathon Switzer. Biloxi's Jacob Butera advanced in boys singles.
St. Martin 5, West Harrison 0: Rebecca Anderson threw a complete-game shutout and two-hitter to lead the Lady Jackets to a softball win. Savannah Harris, Katelyn Gruich and Deona Morgan all had a pair of hits for St. Martin (14-7). Anna Necaise was the losing pitcher for West Harrison.
Harrison Central 11, Hancock 2: Jhericka Strickland and Amari Ramsey homered as the Red Rebelettes (16-3, 6-0) cruised to a region softball win. Simone McKinney and Madison Burge both had three hits for Harrison Central. Kristen Cade (8-2) threw all seven innigns, striking out 10 to pick up the win. Brooke Fagan had a solo homer for Hancock.
