Jimmy Parker and long-time assistant Sherri Davis picked up their 500th career fast-pitch win together in convincing fashion Tuesday as Harrison Central topped Biloxi 8-0.
Kristen Cade struck out 12, allowing two hits for the win. Simone McKinney and Desirea Lindsey paced HCHS (8-3, 1-0) at the plate with two hits.
St. Martin 2, Pearl River Central 1: St. Martin's softball team improved to 6-3 Tuesday with a close 2-1 victory over Pearl River Central. Deona Morgan set the tone with a homer to lead off the game. Shelby Gruich recorded a single, double and RBI. Rebecca Anderson (4-2) struck out six in the complete-game win.
Our Lady Academy 6, Mize 5: Dallas Blaker hit a homer in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game. Grace Greer later drove in the winning run to lift OLA (4-6, 3-0). Blaker finished with two hits and two RBIs and also struck out 11 for the win. Grace Greer, Alex Necaise and Abby Koons all had two hits.

St. Patrick 15, Seminary 4 (5 inn): Anna D'Aquilla improved to 6-0 on the year for St. Patrick (10-0). She was also 4-for-4 at the plate. Morgan McCrea and Marissa Hanley both went 2-for-3 with three RBIs.
Hancock 2, Gulfport 0: Kaylan Ladner struck out 11 while allowing two hits in the win. Rilee Swilley had three hits, including a standup double. Gabby Lauga had two hits with a double. Brailey Smith also had two hits for HHS (8-6, 1-0).
East Central 12 Murphy (Ala.) 1: ECHS pitcher Madie Sparks improve to 6-0 with the win Monday night. Casey Duncan led ECHS (9-2, 3-0) with three hits, including a bases-clearing double. Madison Wall also had three hits.
Long Beach 11, Gautier 3: Josh Borzik struck out five against three runs and five hits for the complete-game win. Dylan Bursell and Tyler Allen each had two hits for LBHS (8-6, 3-0). Allen also had two RBIs.
Hancock 6, Harrison Central 3: Brindon Hoda earned the complete-game win for Hancock (7-5, 3-2), striking out four. Landon Jordan and B.J. Kennedy led the Hawks with three hits each. Kennedy also had two RBIs. Cameron Necaise had two hits.
Pascagoula 14, West Harrison 4: Griffin Sublett had one strike out in six innings but picked up the win for Pascagoula (5-10). Sublett also had three singles. Matt Inlow, Austin Beech, Frederic Reynolds all had three hits for the Panthers. Reynolds also drove-in a team-high four runs. Inlow had two RBIs. WHHS fell to 11-4 with the loss.
East Central 15, Bay 2: Colin Danley earned the win, striking out eight in four innings. Reis Trager was 2-for-5 with a triple and two RBis. Jacob Vick was 2-for-3. Louis Morgan had two hits with a double. Logan Walters hit a double and had five RBIs for ECHS (8-5, 5-1).
Vancleave 3, St. Stanislaus 1: Levi Knight fell despite allowing three hits in the complete-game effort. He struck out four and also had two hits at the plate. Jack Putnam recorded a double for SSC (6-7, 2-3).
St. Patrick 17, Perry Central 0: Blaise Butirich earned the win Tuesday, striking out seven. Beau Bratton hit a three-run homer and finished with four RBIs for the Fighting Irish (9-1, 3-1). Josh Wood was 3-for-3 with two doubles. Brennan Gioe was 2-for-3 with an RBI. Trace Palazzo also had two hits and an RBI.
D’Iberville 10, St. Martin 5: Andrew Bird struck out nine in six innings for DHS (9-4, 5-0) against the Yellow Jackets (5-13, 0-5) on Tuesday. Luther Woullard tallied a single and two doubles with two walks, an RBI and four runs scored to pace the Warriors. Nathan Yennie, Bird, Hunter White, Ocean Gehrmann each had two hits. Yennie, Bird and White recorded doubles. White also had two RBIs. Chance Groue struck out 10 in the losing effort. R.J. Fletcher recorded two hits and an RBI for SMHS.
