Hancock ace Kaylan Ladner was dialed in Monday, tossing a no-hitter in a 6-0 win over Donaldson Christian (Tenn.) in a Gulf Shores (Ala.) tournament.
The sophomore also struck out seven against two walks in a five-inning game that was halted because of a time limit.
Brooke Fagan hit a double for Hancock (7-3), while Lena Turner, Riley Swilley and Katelen Mcgowen each recorded a hit and an RBI in the win.
The Lady Hawks dropped their other game Monday, 5-0, to Prattville (Ala.). Swilley took the loss in the pitcher's circle. Both Fagan and Swilley recorded hits in the loss.

Gulfport 15, West Jones 1: Taylor Chambliss and Lauren Penny both went 4-for-4 at the plate and knocked in two runs apiece as Gulfport cruised to a road win. Chambliss also pitched all five innings to pick up the win. She allowed one run on five hits while striking out four.
St. Martin 12, Vancleave 2: Rebecca Anderson threw all seven innings to pick up the win for St. Martin (4-3). She struck out 11 and allowed only two hits. Deona Morgan went 4-for-5 at the plate with four runs scored and an RBI. Katelyn Carcich knocked in three runs and Emily Stansbury went 3-for-4 with two RBIs.
Stone High 7, Picayune 0: Tristen Parker (4-1) threw a complete-game shutout for the Stone baseball team (6-4, 2-0), giving six hits and striking out four in seven innings. Mason Hunt had three singles, Preston Stringer added two singles, Hunter Clark had two singles while Hayden Harrell had a solo homer.
Gulfport 5, Oak Forest (La.) 4: Gage Clark hit a pair of two-run home runs to help the Gulfport baseball team improve to 7-3. Alex Nelms earned the pitching win.
East Central 9, Picayune 5: Madie Sparks picked up the win to improve to 5-0 for the Lady Hornets (7-2). Kayla Collins, Maranda Busby and Sarah Depperschmidt each had two hits.
