Prep roundup: St. Patrick girls fall at Collins; Lady Pirates top Moss Point

Morgan McCrea scored 19 for St. Patrick on Thursday night but it wasn't enough to lift the Lady Fighting Irish (19-8) as they fell at Collins 57-39. Olivia Allen also scored 10 in the Region 8-3A Tournament game. St. Patrick will face West Marion at 4 p.m. Friday.

Pass Christian girls 57, Moss Point 31: The Pass Christian Lady Pirates advanced to the District 8-4A championship game with a 57-31 win over Moss Point. Maliyah Bullard led the Lady Pirates with 23 points, sinking seven 3-pointers on the night. Netanyah Wilkerson added 10 points. LaMiracle Sims led the Lady Tigers with 13 points. The Lady Pirates will play Bay High in the championship game. Moss Point plays East Central for third place.

Bay High 51, Moss Point 35: The Bay High Tigers advanced to the Region 8-4A championship game with a 51-35 win over Moss Point on Thursday. Bay High will play Pass Christian, a team they split wins with during the regular season. Bay was led by Austin Alexander with 16 points. Gaylen Smith III and Chris Moody each added 12. Aristotle Rush led Moss Point scorers with nine points. Moss Point will play Vancleave on Friday for third place.
