Prep roundup: St. Martin nips Ocean Springs in OT
Deona Morgan scored 25 points as St. Martin held off Ocean Springs 63-62 in overtime on Friday night. Savannah Jones and Daphane White each had 12 for the Lady Jackets (19-2, 3-0 Region 7-6A).
Ocean Springs had a chance to win in the closing seconds of overtime, but missed a game-winning shot. D.J. Blackston had 21 for Ocean Springs, Sophie St. Amant, Dougless St. Amant scored 15 and 12, respectively.
George County girls 43, D'Iberville 35: Marshea Grayson led the Lady Rebels with 16 points. Casey Ferguson had 20 points and 12 rebounds for the Lady Warriors.
Bay High girls 77, Vancleave 15: Jamaya Galloway scored 19 points for the Lady Tigers (13-6). Aerion Dority scored 18 points, Simone Jackson had 13.
St. Patrick girls 37, West Marion 25: Morgan McCrea scored 17 points for the Lady Irish (12-5, 2-2 Region 8-3A). Olivia Allen added 10 for St. Patrick.
Pass Christian girls 59, East Central 47: Netanya Wilkerson scored 16 points for the Lady Pirates (8-13, 2-2 Region 8-4A), Tori Williams added 14, Maliyah Bullard with 13 and Kayla Obillo had 10.
Bay High 53, Vancleave 37: Conner Ladner scored 17 points to lead Bay High (11-5, 3-3 Region 8-4A). Galen Smith III added 10. Nic Brewer and Kylan Jackson each had 10 points for the Bulldogs.
D'Iberville 69, George County 56: Zach Scales scored 20 points as D'Iberville beat George County. Evan Howard added 14 for the Warriors (16-3, 3-0 Region 7-6A). George County was led by LaRaymond Spivery's 30 points.
St. Martin 66, Ocean Springs 40: Stacee St. Julian had 22 points, seven assists for the Yellow Jackets (14-6, 1-2 Region 7-6A). Jalen Lett added 14 points, 10 rebounds and four steals. Datren Bivens also scored 14.

Gulfport 4, Resurrection 0: Alexander Hopkins' hat trick lifted Gulfport past RCS on Thursday. Matt Stanley also scored for Gulfport, while Travis Beck registered two assists.
Gautier girls 3, St. Patrick 1: Brendaisha Garrett scored twice, Emily Riley added a goal for the Lady Gators (7-6-3).
Gulfport girls 3, Harrison Central 0: Anika Sheanas, Caitlyn Pennel and Britton Simpson all scored for the Lady Admirals (14-2-3, 5-0 Division 8-6A).
Biloxi girls 2, Hancock 1: Curissa Beatty scored the game-winner in overtime as the Lady Indians prevailed. Zakiah Almatrood also scored for Biloxi.
Vancleave girls 2, Bay High 0: Sydney Salter and Alie Davis each scored.
Saint Stanislaus 2, Pass Christian 0: Corbin Blanchard and Beau Rimmer each scored for the Rockachaws (16-2-1).
Gulfport 7, Harrison Central 1: Alexander Hopkins and Gage Switzer each scored twice at the Admirals prevailed. Travis Beck, Eli Cupp and Cain Sudduth also scored.
George County girls 4, Resurrection 3: Valerie King scored twice, Harley Johnson and Anna Smith each had goals for the Lady Rebels (11-7-1)
Resurrection 2, George County 0: The Rebels dropped to 6-9-4.
