Prep roundup: Williams lifts West Harrison girls past Pascagoula

The West Harrison girls topped Pascagoula behind 30 points, 16 rebounds and 5 steals from star senior Ameshya Williams.

West Harrison led 17-1 after one quarter, but Pascagoula rallied to tie the game at 42-42 with 4:07 remaining. West Harrison scored the final 14 points of the game to pick up the win.

Jailin Cherry and Victoria Hunter both had 10 points for Pascagoula.

Amari Graves added 10 points for West Harrison.

Bay High girls 63, Pass Christian 41: Jamaya Galloway and Simone Jackson led Bay High (12-6) past PCHS on Tuesday with 23 and 20 points respectively. Amari Pittman chipped in 11 points. Netanya Wilkerson led Pass Christian (8-12, 1-2) with 16 points.

Moss Point girls 65, Vancleave 39: LaMiracle led Moss Point past VHS with 24 points. Celia Rodgers and Robyn Lee chipped in 17 and 13 points respectively. Melanie Demoran and Pashance Housen each scored 10 for Vancleave.

Harrison Central 69, Stone 24: The Red Rebelettes (13-6) got a team effort to beat Stone on Tuesday. Chyna Allen had a team-high 13 points, with Keyshauna Johnson and Arie'Anna Norwood each scoring 11.

Harrison Central 84, Stone 46: Dayquan Perkins led the Red Rebels (11-9) with a 21-point performance. Biscuit Floyd and Dajon Whitworth each scored 13.

D'Iberville girls 36, Ocean Springs 35: In a back and forth game, the Lady Warriors were able to hold on to defeat Ocean Springs (14-2). Casey Ferguson led DHS (7-8) with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Witney Gipson led OSHSA with 11 points.

St. Martin girls 64, George County 37: Daphane White registered a triple double to lead St. Martin (18-2) past George County (9-8). The sophomore center scored 19 points and recorded 14 rebounds with 10 blocks. Deona Morgan scored 19 points to go with 10 rebounds. Savannah Jones had 15 points and 14 rebounds. Marshea Grayson and Asia Riley led GCHS with 16 and 14 points respectively.

Bay High 41, Pass Christian 38: Conner Ladner and Chris Moody led Bay (10-5, 2-3) past Pass Christian with 13 and 12 points. Aaron Whavers led PCHS (13-5) with 16 points.

D'Iberville 58, Ocean Springs 39: Zach Scales led top-ranked D'Iberville past Ocean Springs with 22 points Tuesday. Malik Hubbard scored 18 for D'Iberville (15-3, 2-0). Malcolm Magee scored 15 for D'Iberville.

George County 68, St. Martin 56: LaRaymond Spivery and Rashad Wiggins each scored 16, and Randy Leverette scored 15 to lead the Rebels (9-3, 2-0) past St. Martin (13-6). Stacee St. Julian led the Yellow Jackets with 19. Johnnelius Anderson and Jalen Lett each scored 12.

Soccer

Ocean Springs girls 7, St. Martin 1: Kinsley Harmon led Ocean Springs' offensive outburst with two goals. Each of Lindsay Charlton, Kelsay Himel, Mary Rieger, Brandi Szigeti and Ameris Taylor also scored for OSHS (11-5-2, 4-0).

Gulfport girls 3, Hancock 1: Gulfport's Britton Simpson scored a hat trick to lift GHS (13-2-3, 4-0).

Biloxi 5, Harrison Central 0: Koray Easterling, Devon Tillson, Kevin Martinez, Mariano Rodriquez and Cole Switzer each scored for Biloxi, which improved to 4-0 in district. Marcus Kennedy, Switzer and Martinez each registered assists. Jacob Clark received the Shutout.

Gulfport 5, Hancock 0: Gage Switzer scored a hat trick and Jeff Bruni chipped in two goals for Gulfport.

George County girls 5, D'Iberville 0: Vallory King scored twice and Harley Johnson, Anna Grace Cooley and Anna Smith all scored to improve to 10-7-1 overall and 4-1 in district.

George County 3, D'Iberville 0: George Johnson scored two goals and D.J. Hodges also scored. THe Rebels improved to 6-8-4 overall and 4-1 in district.

Our Lady Academy 2, St. Patrick 1: Emilie Martin and Paige Palazo lifted OLA (6-3-2) past St. Patrick. Victoria Power earned the win in goal.
