St. Martin, Harrison Central and West Harrison players picked for Miss.-Ala. All-Star Games
Two boys and two girls from the Coast will represent their home state in the 2016 Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Games.
Harrison Central senior guard Biscuit Floyd and St. Martin senior guard Stacee St. Julian are the Coast representatives on the boys team.
West Harrison senior forward Ameshya Williams, who is averaging 25.2 points and 13.7 rebounds this season, and St. Martin senior forward/guard Savannah Jones, a South Alabama signee, will be on Mississippi's girls team. Jones is averaging 24.9 points and 9.7 rebounds a game.
St. Julian is the top scorer on the Coast with an average of 23.4 points a game and Floyd is leading Harrison Central with 17.2 points a contest.
The Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Games is set for March 18 at Mississippi College in Clinton
The North/South All-Star Basketball Games, which will be played March 25 at Mississippi College, will feature five juniors from the Coast.
Moss Point forward LaMiracle Sims, Pascagoula guard Jailin Cherry and D'Iberville guard Casey Ferguson will play for the South girls squad.
Sims is one of the top post players on the Coast with averages of 12.5 points and 14.4 rebounds this season. Ferguson is averaging 20.6 points and 9.6 rebounds while Cherry is putting up 13.1 points a game this season.
The South boys squad features West Harrison guard Quieran Gray (10.6 ppg) and Biloxi forward Fred Ramsey-Thompson, who is averaging 13 points a game this season.
