Prep roundup: Gulfport girls knock off Meridian

Aarmanii McDaniel scored 18 with 18 rebounds, Amyjah Hardnett had 12 points and Madison Collier chipped in 10 points as GHS (11-6) knocked off Meridian 62-59 in the Hattiesburg Coca-Cola Invitational. The Lady Admirals advance to play Hattiesburg on Wednesday.

St. Patrick girls 35, Gautier 15: Baylee Hodge scored 10 points to lead the Lady Fighting Irish (9-3) past GHS in the Vancleave tournament. St. Patrick will play host VHS at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

D'Iberville 59, East Marion 29: Dillyn Neely and Kyle Winters scored 10 points apiece for the Warriors.

Pass Christian 48, Wayne County 46: Maliq Leaks' 19-point performance lifted the Pirates (10-4) past Wayne County.

Bay High 43, Picayune 26: Austin Alexander scored 19 and Chris Moody chipped in 10 to lead the Tigers (8-4) to the Picayune's holiday tournament title.

Bay High 44, Pearl River Central 29: Alexander and Galen Smith III led BHS on Monday night with 17 and 15 points respectively.
