Boys Roundup: St. Martin routs Southern High at Disney Tournament

Stacee St. Julian scored 21 points and made four steals as St. Martin defeated Southern High (Ky.) 76-54 at the Disney World Tournament on Saturday. Daetren Bivens scored 20 points as the Yellow Jackets (13-1) won two of three games in the tournament.

Jalen Lett had 11 points and seven rebounds for St. Martin, Johnnelius Anderson finished with 10.

St. Martin's next game will be against Pascagoula in the first round of the Gulfport Holiday Tournament on Dec. 28 at Bert Jenkins Gymnasium.

Friday's games

Bay High 38, St. Stanislaus 21: Chris Moody scored 13 points as Bay High beat St. Stanislaus on Friday at the Tiger Dome. Bay High improved to 7-4, 1-2 Region 8-4A.

Meridian 55, Gulfport 44: Despite 24 points from Tyrell McArthur, the Admirals dropped to 9-5.

Pearl River Central 32, Lumberton 27: Donte Stephens scored 13 points to lead the Blue Devils (4-7).

Soccer

Ocean Springs 2, Northlake Christian (La.) 0: Stephen Gallagher scored both goals for the Greyhounds (7-4-2).

Biloxi 4,Hancock 2: Marcus Kennedy scored twice as the Indians improved to 3-0 in Division 8-6A. ,Devon Tillson and Cole Switzer each scored.

George County girls 6, St. Martin 1: Anna Smith and Anna Grace Cooley each scored twice for the Lady Rebels (6-7, 2-1 Division 7-6A). Harley Johnson and Vallory King each scored.

George County 6, St. Martin 0: River Johnson scored twice for the Rebels (4-7-2, 2-1 Division 7-6A). Jordan Cochran, Chase Turner, C.J. Hodges and Chandler Bagley scored for George County.
