Prep roundup: Ferguson leads D'Iberville to convincing win

St. Patrick girls 39, Resurrection 25: Morgan McCrea scored 22 points and Olivia Allen chipped in nine to lead St. Patrick (7-2) past RCS.

Pass Christian girls 51, Biloxi 18: Netanya Wilkerson and Deja Dedeaux led Pass Christian (5-9) with 17 and 13 points respectively. Breanna Riley scored six points for Biloxi.

Pearl River Central girls 47, Vancleave 20: Harlee Davis led PRC (8-3) with 14 points. Brooklyn Howe scored 13.

Stone girls 54, Forrest County AHS 36: Beth Owen and Constance Evans led Stone (5-6) with 12 points apiece. Emily Calloway scored 10.

D'Iberville girls 49, Poplarville 33: Casey Ferguson led the Lady Warriors (5-5) with 32 points and 12 rebounds.

Harrison Central girls 55, Pascagoula 52: DeAsia McInnis and Adyn Strickland led HCHS (7-3) with 17 and 13 points. Jailin Cherry led Pascagoula with 16 points.

D'Iberville 64, Poplarville 38: Zach Scales led D'Iberville (8-2) with 25 points. Malik Hubbard chipped in 13. Zack Taylor led the Hornets with a 14-point effort.

Biloxi 48, Pass Christian 45: The Pirates (6-4) were unable to get coach Buddy Kennedy his 500th career win on Tuesday, coming up just short against BHS. Fred Ramsey-Thompson and Jordan Lewis led Biloxi with 14 and 11 points respectively. Raymond Obillo led PCHS with 11.

Pearl River Central 54, Vancleave 48: The Bulldogs (8-1) saw their undefeated start to the season come to an end Tuesday at PRC (3-7). A.J. Banks led PRC with 18 points. Donte Stephens and Willie Reece also scored 14 and 12 points respectively. Vancleave was led by Trevor Davis’ 11-point effort.

St. Martin 65, Gautier 30: The St. Martin boys rolled to a convincing victory Monday despite senior guard Stacee St. Julian being hindered with a rolled ankle. Daetran Bivens led St. Martin with 21 points, five rebounds and five assists Monday. Jalen Lett added 16 points and 12 rebounds. Johnnelius Anderson had 10 points and 12 rebounds for the Yellow Jackets (11-0).

Soccer

Hancock girls 3, Harrison Central 0: Caroline Grafe, Holly Maughn and Alyssa Palisi each scored for Hancock (11-2). Taylor Lee picked up the shutout in net.

Gulfport girls 2, Biloxi 0: Olivia Prescott and Caitlin Pennel scored to lift Gulfport (9-1-3, 2-0). Gracie Weatherly earned the shutout.

Ocean Springs girls 3, George County 0: Kaylee Foster, Kelsay Himel and Emma Hunt scored for Ocean Springs (8-3-1, 3-0). Karsen Gildea got the shutout.

Gautier girls 5, Resurrection 3: Vrendaisha Garrett and Emily Riley both scored a pair of goals Monday as Gautier improved to 5-3. Maya McInnis also provided a goal for the Lady Gators.

Biloxi 2, Gulfport 1 (OT): Cole Switzer led Biloxi with a goal and an assist. Marcus Kennedy also scored. Devon Tillson record Biloxi’s second assist.

Ocean Springs 4, George County 1: Allan Mays scored twice and both Steven Gallagher and Max Wade scored for OSHS (6-4-2, 3-0).
