Prep roundup: West Harrison's Ameshya Williams scores 43 in OT thriller

Vancleave girls 46, Resurrection 17: Jessica Woods led VHS with 17 points, seven rebounds and five steals. Icy Walley scored 11 for RCS.

Pass Christian girls 37, D'Iberville 35: Pass Christian rallied from four points down in the fourth period to pick up the road win. Maliyah Bullard led Pass with 13 points and Daysia Bullard added seven for the Lady Pirates.

War on the Shore: The annual War on the Shore won't be as big this weekend as in past years. Due to some scheduling conflicts, the competition will only feature host St. Stanislaus against Hancock at 3 p.m.

West Harrison girls 62, Bay High 61 (OT): West Harrison (7-1) rallied from a nine-point deficit in the fourth quarter to win in overtime. Ameshya Williams led WHHS with 43 points, 19 rebounds, four blocks and four steals. Jamaya Galloway scored 30 for Bay High.

Gautier 70, Hancock 64: D.J. Johnson scored 27 to lead Gautier (5-5) past HHS. Mike McWilliams chipped in 21 points and 12 rebounds. Kelvin Robertson also scored 10 for GHS. Brendon Ladner led Hancock with 20 points. Tyler Butler scored 14.

Soccer

St. Stanislaus 7, Pass Christian 0: James Estrada led SSC with two goals. Corbin Blanchard had two assists and Owen Betz picked up his second consecutive shutout since returning from football. SSC plays Terry at Hancock at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

Ocean Springs girls 5, St. Martin 0: Kaylee Foster led OSHS (7-3-1, 2-0) with two goals. Sarah Parker Daniels, Emma Hunt and Karsen Gildea each scored as well. Gildea and Ryleigh Sprague split time in goal for the shutout. OSHS travels to George County on Tuesday.

Biloxi 2, Bay High 0: Zakiah Almatrood and Curissa Beatty scored for Biloxi (5-4-2, 1-0) on Thursday. Lydia Harrington earned the shutout.

George County 3, D'Iberville 0: Harley Johnson, Vallory King and Anna Smith scored for GCHS (5-6, 1-0).

George County 3, D'Iberville 1: George Johnson, Josh Cochran and C.J. Hodges all scored for the Rebels (3-6-2, 1-0).
