Prep roundup: Hansen's hat trick helps lift West Harrison girls over Pascagoula

Helen Cox (La.) 51, Gulfport 44: Gulfport fell on Thursday after the game was tied with under a minute remaining. Keevon Oney led GHS (7-4) with nine points. The Admirals return to action at 3 p.m. Saturday to play the loser of Karr and Newman.

Gulfport girls 3, Dominican (La.) 0: Alexis Arnoult, Anika Shenas and Britton Simpson all scored for GHS (8-1-3). Gracie Weatherly got the shutout, making six saves.

West Harrison girls 6, Pascagoula 0: Summer Hansen led West Harrison (5-1-1) with three goals. Gabby Vincent scored twice and Kelsey Taylor also scored. Haley Lott picked up the shutout.

West Harrison 2, Pascagoula 0: Jesus Nunez and Jonathan Page each scored for WHHS (6-1). Jackson Knowles got the shutout.

Biloxi 1, Bay High 1: Eric Canelinski scored for Biloxi, with Marcus Kennedy assisting on the goal.

Gulfport 2, Lakeshore (La.) 1: The Admirals picked up a close win in the Mandeville (La.) Tournament.
