Meet the Sun Herald's final defensive player of the week in '15
St. Stanislaus senior Tommy Reeder made his presence felt in a number of ways during Saturday's Class 4A state championship rematch against Noxubee County.
The defensive end was third on the Rockachaws with eight tackles but also had the team's lone sack, forced a fumble and blew up an extra-point attempt to record a block.
He also stayed in on the offensive line a bit to try and block Tigers standout defensive end Jeffery Simmons and later caught a 17-yard pass -- his only reception of the season.
Reeder finished the season third on SSC with 132 total tackles. He also had a team high 15 sacks and 38 tackles for loss.
